BIOGRAPHY • INTRODUCTION
Shirley Feldmann began Feldmann's Flicks Ltd. in 1989 and has been providing Unstoppable Ideas and Production Services in Chicago for agency, retail, broadcast, film, business television and independent projects specializing in broadcast and commercials for such clients as:

ABC Network for "Good Morning America," TargetCom, Morningstar Entertainment for Discovery Health Channel's "Chicago's Lifeline," CBS 2 Chicago / WBBM - TV, CBS/Orwell Productions for the "Big Brother" TV show, New Wave Productions for the History Channel's "Lindbergh Flies Again," Kaos Entertainment for the Travel Channel's "Secrets of RVs," GRB Entertainment for the Learning Channel's "Mysterious Worlds - Exorcisms," CBS News Productions for A&E's "Biography," the Discovery Channel for "Interior Motives," Ameritech, Racing Champions, Buena Vista Television/Disney for the "Danny!" TV Show, Harpo Productions for "The Oprah Winfrey Show," and United Airlines to name a few.

Shirley Feldmann is an organized, detail-oriented producer and production manager with strong marketing, promotion, creative and negotiation skills. She has also developed excellent skills in client relationship building through those clients who could not afford an ad agency and hired her directly to handle all aspects of their broadcast projects from creative strategy and direction through post production and often traffic.

As producer/line producer for TargetCom, a Chicago-based direct response advertising agency, Shirley created and oversaw an internal broadcast production division responsible for producing HD television campaigns for such national clients as Hooked On Phonics, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and True Credit.  Shirley worked with agency personnel to develop procedures to increase efficiency and profitability, while enhancing production values.

For American Mattress, a regional retail chain with over 80 stores, Shirley has provided their successful annual television campaign from creative strategy and direction to production since 2001—through CBS 2 Chicago/WBBM-TV. The 2003 campaign was shot on high definition television (HDTV) and includes 8 x :30 branding spots and 18 x :30 promotional spots designed to rotate together in Chicago, Houston and Indianapolis.

John M. Smyth's Homemakers, a furniture retail chain, was a seven-year account, producing over 80 television and radio spots per year until their parent company consolidated all advertising through their agency in 1997. While still maintaining the same budget of approximately $500,000 per year, Feldmann's Flicks raised the production values, created a reusable graphics and music library, added dynamics and broadened Homemakers' customer base to attract a younger consumer and increase sales.

It was for these direct clients, or smaller agencies without a broadcast department, that Shirley began Feldmann's Flicks Ltd. utilizing the best directors, crew, editing facilities and vendors based on each individual project and budget.

Whether freelancing internally for an established agency broadcast department as a commercial producer, for a television station as a commercial writer/producer/director, for a television show as a segment producer, for business television as a long format producer, for independent productions as a production manager, or for smaller companies needing assistance with full creative and strategic direction through Feldmann's Flicks Ltd., Shirley is comfortable in any production situation.
